If you ever had to build a traditional hot rod would you rather have a Flathead or GMC 302 i6?

FLATHEAD FOR LIFE.
But, honestly I would rather have a flathead with the Ardun heads.

Toughie. I will go with the six as long as I can have that magnificent looking carb setup.

The GMC 302 is a beast of a straight 6. I would love to have an old hot rod truck with one.

Six, but I really wanna do one with a GMC big block V6 or somehow find a GMC Toro-Flow diesel.

I like the look of the older flathead edelbrock heads over the smooth look for the V8. Something about the short noses on the '32 three window coupes....

A ToroFlow would be amazing! The big block v6s are massive and sound amazing, but I like the look of i6 in a hot rod better.

Big fan of the Jimmy Six, meself. Not quite so easy to package, but ya gotta love the sound.

I guess I'm more of a rat rod person, but it looks so out of place, it would be perfect. Kind of like I think the perfect rat rod should have an Olds 5.7 diesel, because that is the rattiest engine most people can think of.

I'm more of a traditional rod guy. Not overdone, but not a rolling trash heap either. Just simple and old school.

That's a proper hot rod. Not overly flashy, but catches your eye quicker than most exotics.
