Knowing nothing - could you even go 200 miles on these? Is that one race left? Or will they last longer ...

From my knowledge these ones last around 5 to 7k miles. Not the best life, but he only raced it, but that doesn't really help much.

Back when I had a car, I'd replace tires even when I could get another 2-3K out of them - I think there's some things you don't screw around with, and one of them is tires.

Those still look pretty good for $100.

Good, I just saved you 100 bucks you can put towards good tires.

That was what I was thinking

That is true. They are the things that connect your car to the road. It is always funny how much money people will throw at their powertrain to make it reliable, but they forget that stuff isn't what is saving your life.

But these have awesome amounts of grip. . . when they are new at least! I guess I am gonna have to pass on this one.

The thing with grippy tires is when they age or get heated (then cooled) they start to loose grip. So (good when new) old raced on tires are not going to be nearly as good as mediocre new tires.
