There's a Belgian(?) military vehicle out there that is definitely a "WTF? WHY", in that it uses double shaft drives to drive all 3 wheels on the left side the same speed, and all the wheels on the right side the same speed. It's like an idiot's way of making a tracked vehicle, except with steering front wheels.
