standing starts with a 270lb guy against some relative lightweights gave me a disadvantage at the start :)

No karts last weekend - just a big, shitty BMW e30. :(

Just bustin' yer balls, bruh! Those karts look wayyy faster than the gas karts at Andretti in Atlanta, we usually go to Nashville to race the electric Sodi RTX's they have there - the torque helps us big guys out!

You were at NCM last weekend? I had a lot of buddies out there.... 2 coworkers were running an E30. They finished P2 in the number 610 Poorboy's Racing E30

Nice! It was a blast. Those damn e36's are QUICK! I wish I had video from Sunday - I mixed it up with them a bit but they definitely had the legs on me in the straights. A fueling error (not enough) caused me to come in when I had moved up to P6 with :45 left to run and we dropped to P11 and inevitably finished at the fat end of the top 10 (10th, lol).

I wound up running 1/10th off the pace of our fastest driver on Saturday despite this being my first time ever on a track. Its amazing what 4 hours of seat time in a weekend will teach you. I can't wait for Road Atlanta in Feb.

Waitaminute—Rich, if I remember your name correctly—weren't you wearing an 'Oppo' hoodie? I should've asked what your username was, I was the guy with the stickered-up helmet (and you might remember my Prelude from some SCCA autocrosses). Nice to put a face to the name on here, if I have it right.
And I hate you for being in the 35's; my best was a 36.5—first time in those karts is no excuse.

Ah, yes. That's how I expect my red Prelude to be remembered. Sometime I should upload the video of me talking copious amounts of trash as I pass a ton of exotic hardware in the rain at BeaveRun. I imagine that would entertain you.

Yep, try the forums there are teams looking for extra drivers all the time. I know for a fact a few are looking to fill seats next weekend at Atlanta Motorsports Park.
