I talked to my mom who said she had called the dentist to ask what we should do... Except that she called the guy who screwed it up in the first place >:/ he said that it was normal to have some swelling on the gums and cheeks after having the teeth removed... Except I had them removed a week ago! He didn't have any comment on the pointy object on top besides "Rinse it with saltwater over the weekend and I'll check it out on Tuesday" at this point i was fuming with her for not calling the real dentist and asking him to help... So right now I'm at the minor emergency room where they said they don't do much dental stuff to see what they have to say :/ I'm with my dad at least...my mom doesn't understand how serious this actually is :(

That happened to me too, all my teeth exploded, now my only way of conversing is commenting on the internet.

Well, darn. You're trying to get help, but it seems it's to no avail. The concern is the pointy object.

Hopefully all my teeth didn't explode, it did actually happen, though, it turned out it was a broken root lodged in there, but people are worried because it could be an abscess, which is not dangerous, just painful.

You need teeth to speak?

She thinks that "people on the internet don't know what they are talking about". Remember, she dislocated her knee during junior high basketball season and popped it back in and kept playing... Without telling anyone or seeking medical attention! Sometimes....

Well if my teeth exploded they probably would do damage to the rest of my mouth, right? Considering the close proximity to my brain, I'm lucky to be alive.

I hope it gets better - for me, the swelling went away within a couple of days.
I did have one problem after I got my wisdom teeth removed, though. The anesthetic that was injected into my left arm was some weird cocktail of stuff that caused a blockage in the vein it was injected into. That caused me a little bit of pain for a few months - I don't recall when it went away.
