The all holy Jalopnik via Kinja and the other Kinja blogs must make entertaining content. Yes. But how is it paid for? I have not seen a single advert or pop up or email of any kind. What drives the finances of jalopnik? I'm really curious. kinja's what is this page has nothing.

You are using ad blocking software. Turn it off. Gaze at all the ads and be amazed.

I've never installed one on this ipad I'm tapping on. My phone never shows ads on the site....I have no idea. I never intentionally put one on besides clicking some browser options on the desktop but the mobile devices don't show dick. Literally thank god for that but y'all know what I mean.

Yep definitely must have an ad blocker. They have recently gotten worst for me, almost every page gets a pop up video ad.

You must have as block on because pretty much every article I click on, I get a pop-up video ad, and there's banners at the top and sides.

ok. Thank you cat. That's really nice to find. I was wondering how their FP generated hits translate to income, like a hit is a hundredth of a cent or something. On my drive home I thought about how much a 500k hit article generated. That sort of thing. The new media is a different game.
