Luckily I already had the day off from work, though festivities started last night.

Watched the Chargers game with fellow fans at a local brewery last night (the loss was expected).

Went to my favorite local pizza place.

This morning I got the R's oil changed and tires rotated....not a great birthday highlight, but breakfast was free from the dealer, and I caught up on Gotham on my iPhone while waiting.

Aside from my iPhone 6, my other birthday present to myself today is a massage, and then later tonight, more beer and festivities with friends.

Not bad so far. Definitely better than how the rest of this year (real estate, women) has gone.

Here's a car I'll buy myself for a future birthday.
