my car develops a nasty vibration on the highway. Looks like I'm not going to make it to work today either.
And I'm still sick, but was feeling well enough to go to work. I even like my work.

Sorry about your luck, but thanks a ton for this gif!

did you lose a wheel weight or something, or more dire like a driveshaft issue?

I think it's my front left brake, it's really fucking hot. So it's either dragging, warped or has a high spot.

probably warped from dragging. This is why I carry a hammer. I would smack the shit out of that caliper to release it. Usually gets you where you are going. On the E36?

I checked it out and made it back home. It seems warped, so I'm going to take it off and check it out in a bit.

Seconded.

that sucks. Hopefully it's an easy fix. Keep us posted. As a fellow e36 driver I feel your pain and eye my car in the parking lot suspiciously. Hopefully this shit isn't going around.

Turns out that it is a warped rotor

Yep, warped rotor

so not too bad, as long as your caliper isn't shot. *knock on wood* but last time I took my rotors off, they came off super easily.

Calipers seem fine and came off much easier today. The brake job took me 2 days last time from all of the corrosion.

front and rear? I did fronts earlier this year and have been eyeing the rears.

I did all of them. But my problem today is just the front.
