I felt like this today. Went into my office (real estate people) and there should have been checks there on Monday - it's Wednesday. I was exactly this picture.
Guess what? Principal Broker pulled out the book, wrote a goodly portion of it out long hand and paid. Last time I asked (without the attitude) they had to take 2 more weeks to get it to me. Contracting sucks, and (correct and righteous) attitude pays.
