So I got married a couple of weeks ago (yay!) and my friends got the keys to my car and had their way with it. One of the things they did was put condoms on everything that could hold a condom. My shifter, e-brake, turn stalks, door handles, pretty much anything and everything. I thought I was in for a detailing nightmare...
But actually, turns out the lube that is on a condom is actually really good at moisturizing and refreshing leather! My steering wheel feels pretty new and supple; same with my shifter and my e-brake handle. It was really surprising. My wife and sister-in-law actually remarked about how much nicer it looks.
The more you know.

Well, at least now I have an excuse to go buy condoms so I can at least *look* like I have sex.

I was going to make a corny remark, but I would have been a dick for doing so.

Ha, the steering wheel just got all the stuff that was on my hands as I removed the condoms from everything else. There was a lot of lube.

Condom lube has to be fairly friendly stuff, since it can't be anything that eats through the latex, this is why it's very important to shop carefully for lube if you are also planning on using a condom.
The worst thing about this, i think, would be the smell, I hate the smell of condoms.

Pretty sure condom lube is just silicone oil. It’s about the only oil that doesn’t cause natural rubber to “rot”. It has a lot of uses besides making condoms slippery.
(edit have no idea why this appeared as a recent post. oops.)

How many condoms did it take versus how much conditioner and purpose-made product in terms of dollars?
