Screw terrorists.

Who the hell attacks Canada? Canada is the nicest, most accepting, least offensive country I've ever set foot in. Makes me sad. Canada rocks.

There's your reason.

I'm all for screwing terrorists and screwing ISIS; two things Canadians are experts at, but have you seen reports that the attack was politically motivated? Obviously an attack on a government building is likely politically motivated, but I haven't seen any confirming reports.

did they find out if ISIS was behind it or did we just have some loonies on the loose?

You're right. I've changed it, but I'm still calling them terrorists.

Assholes who hate everything and anything that does not adhere to their narrow worldview. Its really sad. RIP :(

It was an error on my part. However, they're the biggest players right now in the world.

The gunman is still on the lose in Parliament right?

They almost certainly are terrorists, but I'm reminded of the shooting at the U.S. Capitol shooting in 1998 , which was not a terrorist act.

One was shot and reportedly killed by the Parliament Hill Sergeant at Arms Kevin Vickers. However, the ordeal is not over yet and there are supposedly other shooters.

I don't know if they're the biggest but they sure as hell are the noisiest. (and I do agree with screw them btw, just had me looking to see if ISIS had the balls to cross oceans, because that shit's a game changer)

"Dammit, I'm getting to old for the gunman. Where's the punk kids with their paper signs?"
- Kevin Vickers.

Bigbossyboss works at the parliament buildings, and he just told me he's okay, and is in a safe place.

it's too early to know exactly what's happened, I'm following the news here http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2…
As a Canadian I have a really hard time understanding why Ottawa would be targeted, it really doesn't make much sense to me.

Would it really make a difference what its called? A nutjob is unpredictable and so are terrorists (lone wolf or not). Both act without warning. Domestic terrorism vs foreign terrorism. Both extremely hard to predict and fight against.
On Monday, two Canadian soldiers were ran down by a radicalized citizen. Even before that, Canada raised its national threat level due to increased chatter regarding the country of Canada. Today, we have multiple (more than one) shooters at the Parliament and buildings around the are of the Parliament Hill. One Canadian soldier was killed while standing guard at the war memorial.
Dont want to call it terrorism? Fine, but its not just a single nut job.

Wow! Good to know.

Well, there are a lot of high value people in Ottawa that lead the country of Canada.

Jihadists that sympathize with ISIS. Probably Canadians converted to Islam and brainwashed by those terrorists.

And the guy that ran over those soldiers was caught trying to leave the country to fight in Syria. They took his passport. They should have automatically arrested and charged him with treason. Time to stop handling these psychopaths with kid gloves. If you support terrorists you are going to jail for the rest of your life. No parole, no second chances.
