From the sleepy little town I grew up in. Usually, I chuckle at how juvenile most of the calls are; like the person whom called the police to report that there was a man and a woman walking along the road, and they told the caller that they were looking for a lost dog. The caller didn't believe them, and asked police to come out. They showed up and found out the couple was, in fact, looking for their lost dog.
Anyways, I read this one, and just... well.... wow. I mean really, you thought this was a police-call-able offense?
A resident called police at 8:30 a.m. because a man was talking on his cell phone in the parking lot for the East Bay Bike Path on Asylum Road
So a man, was on his cell phone, in a public place. Definitely sounds like a bad apple to me. I would hate to see how any of these callers would react if they lived in a city that had actual violence and crime.
Anyways, Here's a JX2 for your time, and to keep oppo car.

Seem to be some lonely, bored and petty people in your town.

Yes, most of my generation moved away, leaving only the lonely old people behind. But it's also a college town, so there are some college bros that cause a ruckus.

That sounds exactly like where I live. Not much crime except the occasional drug bust...

My favorite was a good citizen ~25 years ago who called 911 because a mountain lion was killing a deer on is property.
The operator told him how lucky he was to witness mother nature at her cruelest but he insisted that unless a Deputy came immediately that deer was going to die.

Fucking lions... next thing they will be hanging out by the gass station, then the general store and before you know it, they are living in your neighborhood...
