You couldn't buy the LaSalle, because I would buy it first.
Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said 'Goodbye' and you were like [no way] and then I was all 'we pretended we were going to murder you'? That was great!

The guy has *two* '40 LaSalles. Let's not be overly petty, shall we? Just because backstabbing is fun doesn't make it mandatory in *all* cases.

you could save a pile of cash and get something someone else has already spent their kid's college fund on.
I don't care for this color though.

Ok, fine. I'll let you buy one, but on the stipulation that I have to buy one.
Because making hipsters go insane in downtown Asheville with two old LaSalles would be most excellent.

Looks like you only need a couple of grand for those.

Well, my Project Car Hell Year of Infamy would be about ten $2k-$8k cars and the rest on making them semi-functional. Not just a couple of them.

The thing is, I like PCH topic cars, and if you're open to PCH, the "what's on the market" list opens up to beyond insane.

Got it. I miss project car hell. I have my own hell cars. I've managed to get my projects down from 6 cars to 2. I'm trying o get it down to one. I think I can handle one, and I don't have the space to store any more than that. I don't know how it got so out of control that I had six. I'm planning on unloading my spitfire on someone that would be interested in finishing it.

My current PCH pictured above. Rust is like flesh eating bacteria - sometimes you have to amputate whole areas.

My last Fiat I had to cut out areas and weld in new sheet metal, I replaced the driver's side floor on the spitfire, but that looks like more than I'd be willing to take on. It almost look like more rust than car.

Not just the floors.
It's in the roofline, the air box, the a-pillar bases, one door, the gate, and in the lower quarters. The engine compartment is solid as are the rockers and subframes for the most part. and the front fenders, upper rear fenders, and most of the bed are straight and good.

I do really like the the early Falcon Ranchero. That one is my list of cars I'd like own one day. I need more space, or better yet a shop space.
