So the company that sponsored my senior design project was just implicated in defrauding the federal government.
Should I take their name off my resume? I really need that project to bolster my resume so I've left it on but deleted any mention of their support.
Here's a picture of something that was well-engineered: A Toyota pickup.

Keep it. Not like you defrauded the government.

How do you think they got the money top fund your project? :p

I'd say keep it on there. I worked for a company that got purchased by another company that had previously gotten in enormous trouble for an ITAR violation. There was no bad perception for anyone unless you were one of the execs who actually committed a violation.

I'd keep it. Several of my wife's coworkers used to work for a company that went out of business, due to a huge scandal. Her employer was more than happy to scoop up a bunch of suddenly available, talented people.

That's what I was guessing.

I would leave it on there.

Keep their name on it. You are so far down the food chain that any interviewer probably won't even mention it.

Are you applying for a government job?
