911 Carrera: 2.9 liter twin turbo flat six, 400 horsepower

911 Carrera S: 3.8 liter twin turbo flat six, 530 horsepower

911 Turbo/Turbo S: One million horsepower.

Though chances are that the GT3 will remain naturally aspirated.

I think that if this happens, you can expect the Boxster/Cayman S to get the 2.9 liter turbo engine, and the base Boxster/Cayman will get something in the 2.5 liter range.

They will need to strap turbos to the existing turbos. Quad turbo.

Would be funny to see, but no.

I would want a small (2.0 - 2.5 L) flat-six with quad turbos...holy balls that would be epic.

Base will be turbocharged, the new "turbo" models will be turned into "Super" models. Supercharging the turbo'd engines.

Actually, you're wrong.

You won't be feeding on my rage in the slightest bit.

Because I'm going to write a post on this calling bullshit on these claims with no sources to back them.

Six turbos: one turbo for each cylinder for maximum turbos.

6 cylinders, 6 throttle bodies, 6 intake snorkels, 6 separate exhausts connected to 6 compressors and 6 turbines.

The best proof out there is the turbocharged 4 cylinder Cayman circling the 'ring. If the base Cayman is getting turbos, then logically you'll be seeing turbos in the rest of their sports car lineup.

Even in their non sports car lineup, turbos are everywhere. The Macan lineup is all turbos. The Cayenne S and Panamera S had their V8's dropped in favor of turbocharged 3.6 liter V6's. Right now the only non-turbocharged cars are the base Panamera and Cayman, both with 3.6 liter V6's. Bet it ain't long until that motor gets dropped for the twin turbo 3 liter engine used in the Macan S.
