It's not a competition. There's no points, no rules, no anything. You can do literally whatever you want to your own car.
If you want to dump your particular ride on some aggressive, good lookin wheels, no one is stopping you.
If you want to just get freaky weird, go for it! Get inspiration from DTM cars for all I care, it's your car.
If you wanna keep it OEM+ and build a super tight, factory-ish looking car it's all you.
Perhaps you want to keep it simple and as god (designers) intended and just enjoy what the car has to offer out of the box, yet still be an enthusiast.
Or maybe you want to get out and get stuck somewhere in the sticks, more power to ya!
When it's all said and done and you dumped your entire life savings in to your car, it's your car and you take it the direct you want!

*Except for laws in your country, those are rules.

no you can't. You have to listen to what people on forums tell you to do.

Very true, hope judgement doesn't come with any of those styles.
Have you put those badass looking wheels on yours yet?

I really like that grey forester! A little too much going on with the front end, but I guess that's the idea. I have never seen anything like it.

Subies on AT's is HNNGG!!! I saw a Forester with a similar setup at a campground last summer but didn't have a chance to get a pic. It doesn't take much tire to make a Subie look badass.

Next spring, it's already snowed here once so I gotta keep some snows on until then.

In my state I can pretty much do whatever I want.

Purely to screw with people I'd like to bring a lifted STI and a lowered Forester to SEMA. The JDM Forester STI is a sweet car.

I honestly think a lifted STI would be a better rally car than a lifted Forester. Despite being nearly identical underneath they are just setup different.
