1967 Ford Galaxy 500 4 door.

matching original 289 cu.in. V8 w/2 barrel carb. 3 speed automatic transmission. Manual hydraulic brakes.

After the pleasure of dealing with some of craigslist finest knuckle draggers

we are revising our add to make this process smoother for you and us.

This is a $1500, 47 year old car! Please read that sentence a few times and let it sink in, then continue down the ad once you grasp the concept.

Easy start. Runs and drives great , has power steering. This baby just floats down the road like only an old school battle ship can. We live on a gravel road full of ditches and she cruises along like you're on a cloud.

The good:

Has nearly new tires.

Brand spankin' new radiator.

Still in box new gas tank. Previous owner threw it in, only needed a fuel line fix. Turn it into a flower planter or sell it on ebay, we don't care.

Comes with a vintage under dash AC unit. She didn't come with it originally but has the "guts" for you to hook it up.

Working AM radio baby!

She is solid, isn't going to disintegrate into a puff of rust dust driving down the road and sure is a heck of a lot cooler, more reliable and solid than any other car on craigs in this price range. Who needs airbags when you have good ole' fashioned American made steel that can shred a newer car?

The bad:

Deer damage (pictured) to left front headlight. Have new, old stock, vintage bezel for repair.

One rust spot on right rear fender. (pictured)

Some minor interior damage (pictured) on vinyl on both side posts next to the windshield from previous owners dog that was accidentally left in car. (both car and dog survived)

Otherwise in excellent shape for 47 year old car.

Did we mention that it is a $1500 47 year old car?

Great, thanks for keeping up.

Added bonus; older cars are cheaper and easier to repair in the event that it needs it.

We are selling the car for the same reason anyone sells a vintage car. We bought it with the intention of fixing it up and never did.

We're not broke or desperate so please consider that before calling us and acting the fool. (you know who you are pal) We aren't stupid either so please don't make us feel sorry for you when you make an awkward attempt at hustling. (you know who you are buddy)

The few simple rules that one would think should go without saying:

1. Get permission from your wife BEFORE contacting us. (another craigslist winner)

2. Mapquest our location BEFORE contacting us. (same guy)

3. See the car in person BEFORE making an offer. (another craigs mouth breather)

4. Send a coherent email with your contact info.

5. CA$H, in hand, no holds.

6. NO trades.

7. NO trades, even if you call drunk and ask again. (yes, you my friend, you know who you are)

We'll throw in a 6 pack of beer and a high five if you can manage not to ask any questions that are covered in this ad.

So there you have it.

It's only 3-1/2 hours from where I'm moving to, and my apartment will have two parking spaces, oh man is this tempting. There's a 2% chance I'll actually buy it, but man, I really want it!
