A 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP with 202,xxx miles on it. How many transmission rebuilds do you think it's had at that many miles?
I'll say at least two. Even though with how prone these transmissions are to breaking, it could be more.
Unless of course, the first time it happened, the owner beefed up the components.
Either way, Mmmmm, GP GXP.

I'd go with one. Depending on the number of owners. You tend to drive a little more cautiously after a trans rebuild. I know I didn't do any more fast food tray doughnuts in my Grand Am after I blew the power steering and transmission in one shot.

Which is why even though I absolutely love these, I'd never buy one.

202,000 m./ 45 m. = 4,488
About 4,500

If you really want one, find one with an already blown transmission and build it up stronger. There are kits out there for the 4T65.

I'd say at least two or three. I have never seen a V8 FWD W-Body's transmission last longer than 100,000 miles.

My uncle had an 04 GXP and never did anything with the trans. Sold it at 28x,xxx miles and it was still going good. And he liked the go pedal too
