Your Government has screwed up and as an apology has given you a lump sum of cash matching your country's annual average salary with the condition that it can only be spent on a car. Taxes, maintenance and insurance don't need to be worried about you are allowed to spend the entire amount on a car. So what would it be?

In the UK, I would have £26,500.

I would get an RS4 in particular the one below.

I'm a one car person and this car is pretty much the ultimate one car person car in my opinion.

USA median income is 51k. I'd buy a C7.

Honestly, I've been obsessed with this car as of late. From everything I've read it's an absolute blast to drive, it's bulletproof reliable and I really like it with the red and black contrasting interior.

The IS-350 F-Sport AWD

The amount depends on how it is counted. I have seen couple of different values for our average salary. But its something around €35k-40k.

I'm not big Audi fan I do like the V8 powered RS4. The earlier V6 models doesn't raise any interest in me. The cheapest V8 RS4 is for sale for €39,900 so I guess I could pick that one too.

But still I'd rather get something older. Maybe semi good 930 Porche (around 1980) or nice '69 Charger would be my pick currently.

It doesn't. Any car since the dawn of History as long as it is under your country's annual salary.

Salvage title G8, strip it, throw in dry sumped ls7, man tranny, swap front + rear subframes to camaro SS frames. Throw the SS 1le package on there. Repaint Holden. Most awesome-est track car ever.

At $51k, I'd probably be looking at two used cars. That'd be fun.

2014 Mustang GT that someone dumped for the 2015? And a 2012-ish Grand Cherokee. Yeshh.
