Well-positions tacky. I know it's not "purist" but I care more about how it looks than how authentic it is, really, since the former matter more in this case anyway.

No complaints here. I love Lego, I've been building with them probably 20-odd years, and have nowhere near the aptitude you've shown in these photos. Nor the patience. Great work!

They are official Lego. This type of Wheel first Appeared in the Cars 2 sets they did a while ago. No idea where I got these gold ones though. Probably Bricklink.

How about an Oppo-contest for Tiny Turbos?
I suggest a single-elimination, grouped format, with 48 competitors entering until a specific cutoff date (your call), with one TurboTag admin (Raphy, Tommy, Dylan, and you) as judge per group. 6 go through, leading to a 24-man themed build-off with 3 guys competing for a slot in the Final 8.From there, one judge per pair, and in the Final Four, only one can be called back and be called a champ... who will have to defend that title in the next tourney for a chance to get in the TT circle.
Losers can still participate if the one who goes through backs out.
You can set the rules, but I also suggest telling interested guys to have just one fictional company for the whole duration of the tourney, as well as post on both Flickr and here on Oppo.
(I'll make the trophy, too, to save the trouble.)
