Was back in NYC for the long weekend and spotted this '65 De Ville. At least I think it's a De Ville, since as far as I can tell this model was identical to the Eldorado of that year except for that little chrome line down the side.
Same engine, same Turbo-hydramatic trans, everything. And people think the CT# naming scheme will make the Cadillac lineup confusing...
Interesting '64 Worlds' Fair plates on this one, though.

Not just any Lebaron, but a post-facelift 1995 convertible in fucking .... Orchid Metallic. Barf.

Yup, the 65-66 Eldo were just a trim on the de Ville. They were stop-gaps while they were working on the front drive Eldo which was introduced in 67. They also had horrible sales for that reason.
