I'm staying at my new garage (with built in house) for the first time. Growing up in Northern Mexico and in homes that I know are haunted, I am always cautious sleeping in new places. I know I am a weenie, but trust me dudes, i've seen things that I cannot explain.

I don't drink or do drugs. I am honestly always thinking logically but even then, I have seen some scary ass sheeeet.

So OPPO, tell me your ghost stories... why? Because I kinda like being scared and I want to scare myself even more. I made a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! t earlier this year. A BMW Ghost for your time :]

The only BMW I refuse to buy. If I wanted a LWB Bavarian saloon, I'll happily spend $100,000 on an Alpina xDrive, kthx.

Kinja'd!!!

Does Alpina do European Delivery? If not, well fuck.

not really a ghost story, but one time when I was about to leave a family get together in austin, and I heard someone screaming bloody murder and yelling "help me!" while I was standing around talking to family. What's weird is that nobody else heard it except for me, I might been having psychosis (I had been off my meds for a few days prior) but you never know.

My grandparents lived in an 100-year old farmhouse. About 10 years ago my grandmother's sister was staying at the house while they went on vacation. She was from Canada (this was in VA), so it's not like she was around a lot. I may have met her once at the most. While there, she collapsed in the bathroom and died of a heart attack.

About 5 years ago, my younger brother was at the farmhouse with my family and my grandparents. One night he came into the family room and asked my grandmother what her sister looked like. She described her, and my brother calmly said "I just saw her sitting in the living room." Nobody else ever saw a thing.

It sends chills down my spine just to tell it.

When we first moved to the states, we came a little late in the summer and had to buy a house quickly. We bought an "inventory" house surrounded by empty lots. Dim street lamps, quiet neighborhood. In the house was an attic access installed in the wall. It gave me the creeps. Often at night I'd hear rustling in the ceilings, creaks on the stairs, banging on walls. The hardy plank around my window was ripped off one night. Maybe it was my young imagination but I thought someone was already living there before us.

This one is real.

Same house, fast forward a couple of years. I stayed up late to watch a movie. I walked downstairs to grab a glass of water and one my way back up I saw two men peering into the glass of the front door. There was a party across the street, but that house was lit up light a christmas tree, no way you could mistaken where you were going. We met eyes and I ran upstairs, I popped my head around a wall to see if the men had gone, they did, but every sound was those two trying to break in.

We moved across town when I was in Junior High. My new bedroom shared a hallway with an attic access. The door had a lock on it, the knob was heavy. Sometimes I thought I saw a red eye looking through the key hole. One night, I thought I head children playing outside around my truck. The giggling, playful screaming seemed so real. I opened my blinds to see the interior light on in my truck. Grabbed my keys to turn it off. The house backed up into some woods, normally there were cicadas, crickets, the rustling of small animals, not that night - pure silence. Couldn't go to sleep rest of the night. I stood staring at my truck, wondering if the kids had come out to play that night, from their home in my attic.

I went to a charity medium/talk-to-ghosts-lady this summer with my wife for a friends fundraiser. She lead us through a meditation thing where we had to close our eyes and picture a gazebo in a field. She then told us to picture a loved one who had past. I pictured my uncle who had past a few months before. I pictured him sitting across from me in the gazebo and I told him he should do something stupid like shut off the lights or something. He said alright and walked away. I continued to picture the gazebo in a field, and the medium lady kept telling us to picture different things.

.

.

.

Two minutes later the light over the table we were sitting at went out. It was the only light in the room that shut off. It turned back on before I opened my eyes. I looked at every single light switch in the room, and none of them were motion detecting switches. Needless to say, I shit my pants.

Since being from San Antonio, I visited the railroad tracks in the southside, that are supposed to be haunted. We took flour and pretty much plastered my Formula. Oddly enough there were children hand prints after the car rolled past the tracks. We were alone, and all the streets surrounding the railroad tracks are all children's names, I was too stoned to be freaked out though.

Here's a decent one: this is also the same trip where I became known as the guy that put a KAAZ 1.5 Way into an Escort. (Sounds kinda dirty don't it?)

I drove down to Oklahoma City for my buddy's wedding. Good friend, excellent car guy. I get a hotel room by the air port because it's cheap. Going to sleep on the first night, I've got my cell phone on the night stand as an alarm clock and I start hearing a scratching. It honestly sounded like mice. I've lived in houses that had mice (and squirrels and chipmunks) and I just passed it off as shitty hotel noises. I knock on the walls a couple of times trying to scare off the mice but I keep hearing it. I start moving my head around to see if I can hear exactly where it's coming from so I can give that spot a good wrap. That was when I realized it wasn't coming from the wall. It was coming from the back of the night stand. I quick flip on the light and dive out of bed hoping to scare off the mouse. Now, mice are quick but they're not that quick, I saw nothing. Just to double check that I was hearing the right noise, I scratched the back of the night stand with my fingernails and it was uncannily the same sound I had been hearing. Assuming that it would stop, I went back to bed. Just as I get settled in again, I feel a tug on the sheets. By this time, I was entertaining the idea that it could be something supernatural so I stated loudly, "knock that shit off." Tugging stopped, scratching stopped, slept great.

Sometimes the best way to deal with a haunting is to be frank.

hmmm, I wonder what it could of been. Logically you checked. It seems to me more likely it was not supernatural

My little sister claimed the ghost of a man from the 1920's used to watch her at night in her room. One night, she finally worked up the nerve to get out if bed, and tell our dad about it. Dad said he'd take care of it, and went into her room alone. When he came out, he told my sister, "I thanked him for watching over you, but I told him he needs to stop doing that, and that he should go somewhere else." She m very saw the ghost again.

Oh man that happend to my friend once, when he was like 8. He was washing his face in the restroom and when he came up, he saw a man in military uniform behind him. He saw him clear and day and remembered his face and his medals. Later that day they went to his grandmas house. There, his grandma showed him a picture of his grandpa that died in Vietnam..... he freaked out because it was him! He had never seen him before

Very possible. The TV show Ghost Hunters actually made me more of a skeptic because of their methodical investigation techniques for when they hear sounds and stuff.

That story really creeps a lot of people out. For me, I was more irritated by the distraction. I looked into what it could have been. I didn't find any evidence of my initial suspicion (mice) but that doesn't mean that it wasn't mice either, I just didn't see any. It's what we'll call an unsubstantiated personal experience.

The only time I had a run in with the paranormal was during the time my family bought a Lexus LS400. For some reason (every single night), the radio would literally come on by itself - and there was no one around it in the garage. Door shut and locked, too! I slept in a room next to the garage at the time, as well. All of those times happened on a set time: 11:50 PM.

One night, I decided to stay up to see what was going on, and as soon as 11:50 came, I thought I saw two eyes peering right back into me. At that point, I promptly ran out of my room and into the bathroom next door.

The music stopped after that, and the car later died 7 months later when my mother cheaped out on maintenance, and used horrible oil. "Oh hurrdurr it's a toyota!"

The family banned her from driving any high-end luxury vehicles as a result.

She was really little. When she told me the story (years later), she said the most amazing thing to her, was that dad believed her when she told him there was a ghost in her room.

Yeah, but I don't really think it was that because I had never actually experienced psychosis before that point, but I knew it was possible with my condition.
