As I pointed out to him - he already has a project car and is in college AND has yet to buy snow tires for his focus.....I suggested he make a budget and do the math if he can afford another one or not. If he sells these parts before he's in too deep, then he can accomplish other goals. K-roll....FOCUS ON THE PORSCHE! YOU WANT THAT RWD BALANCE AND POISE.

Bummer I know the feeling. I bought a Vortec S-Trim with all the install goodies and TEA ported TFW heads. I had to sell them when I hit a rough financial patch.

I'll 2nd this - project cars are for people with extra money. Ported/modded heads are for people doing more extreme, high flow builds, which means you are building a race car, which means you have extra money. Having a project car AND a race car AND being in college AND still needing to buy snow tires (and apparently not having that extra money, since he still needs to buy snow tires)... all those ANDs together means he might be trying to do too much.

Good luck, it will all work out in the end. It will just take longer if you are doing things the hard way...

I suggest sitting on them for a while. Not literally, of course, but take some time to cool down and think about it. Don't be too hasty in making a decision just because you may still be annoyed with your dad.

You say that like its a bad thing yiu realized that. Cut that out. Focus on your goals and youd be surprised how achievable they are. Distractions and diversions do you no good. This is not a knock on you personaly. On the contrary, this is you recognizing how to prioritize and organize. Bith are essential when dealing with a project car or a college degree. You learned that lesson through yiur hobby as a freshman. There are seniors who still don't learn, for reference.
