So, the fabric has been attempting to remove itselves from the sunvisors in the Camry, so this weekend I peeled the floppy wrinkly stuff off. And regretted it immediately. Between the not-so-smooth foam cores, the slide outs, and the mirrors, there's no way to easily recover them in fabric. (I was thinking of using some Japanese flags, because Rising Sun/Sun visor hilarity)
So instead I decided to sticker bomb them. Original, I know. I didn't have many stickers at home, but knew I had some automotive themed ones at work.
THEN I FOUND THESE.
How ironic, don't you think?
Now do I cover the visors in JUST airbag stickers, or place a few strategically?

3M Super 77 adhesive actually works pretty great for putting foam and fabric back on visors, headliners, etc. Might want to give that a try.

Me and 3M Super 77 do not get along. I end up with it all over my hands, the fabric I DONT want to stick, and everything else.
I was one of those kids that always got glue all over the windows of model cars.

Chances are they'll be tattered and torn and stained and broken like mine... and cost money.

Heh, fair enough. When I was a kid, I switched to tissue-covered balsa models so I could use water-based glue.

I took the Subaru visors to a tailor type shop. The woman did an excellent job of refitting them. Suppose an upholstery shop could do it as well.
