1. It is smoothly if not insanely powerful

2. It's the car equivilant of the modern power suit

i work at an Audi/Holden/Subaru dealer , i wouldn't drive/buy/own any Audi , the quality of them suck BADLY!

so overpriced for what they are , i'd rather have a Chrysler 300c SRT8

interior quality is fine , mechanical quality is almost non existant , i've lost count how many engine rebuilds for oil consumption , gearbox rebuilds , the seem to have trouble holding oil as the volume you see with oil leaks.

my wife has an 07 Passat wagon. It's the same chassis as the CC if I'm correct. The 2.0t is nice but it has the torque-converter 6-speed auto - not the DSG like later cars. It's commendably huge inside — we brought home a washer and dryer inside it — but it's not the best driving or handling car. Part of that is probably the fact that it's an 8-year old wagon that had life hauling all sorts of wagon stuff around. Also, it seems that the head gasket is breaking loose. Water and oil through the exhaust, you see.

It is the same chassis, but refined for the second generation. The European Passat is on the same chassis as well, but refreshed and improved. Plus the 2.0T and new DSG finally act right lol
