'14 Gen Coupe - 2.0T 8speed auto (omg it's not a manual! Hey I like flappy paddle trannies... Wait... That doesn't sound right. You get the point.)

the one I'll be driving is black, but I'm not buying it because I couldn't own a black car without a garage to keep it in. They may have a 3.8 non turbo available too. I've never had a turbo before and for some reason I really want a car that makes silly turbo noise. (Turbo vs non is a 75hp difference and only a couple grand)

The R-spec is also available because trackdaybro but they're all stripped of any tech goodies.

I'll report back on how it goes.

*edit: nobody point out the dick window. I know it's there. Moving on.

I really dont like Hyundais but you said the R-Spec is stripped of all the technology? Im in, I dont like cars that are trying to be smartphones. All I need in a car is a radio with an aux jack, and even then I'd use it rarely

From what I've seen the Gen Coupe, Abarth, FiST and FoST make plenty of noise with an intake or improved BoV. But the potential is there given the already present turbo.

That's basically it. It's a stripper model really. The R spec is actually cheaper than the regular since its without nav, Sun roof, heated seats, etc

Id prefer cooled seats personally.

But a friend of mine had heated seats in her Vue and it became a game of who can turn the other's heated seat on without them noticing.

My friend has had a 14 Genesis 3.8 Track for awhile now and loves the car. Makes a really good noise to. I also hear the 2T is fun to drive.

Rspec then add the tec . Brembos springs and lsd. If you wany abnoxious turbo sounds, just throw a SRI or CAI and you're good!

I specified stock. Any turbo can get loud with mods. Mine is nuts with an intake

Is it stinky? I live in VA so I could go full catless but am concerned about the smell some people say they get once the cat is removed.

I've driven the 2.0T as well but I bought the 3.8. I'd like to hear what you thought of it.
