I was at my brother's band competition today (I MISS BAND SO BAD) and saw new GM trucks.
The Tahoe was an LS, not sure about drivetrain. The Sierra was an SLE and is maybe 2WD. Usually the 4WD models have 4x4 stickers on the bed sides.
Picture of the band because it's the whole reason I saw them.
It was cold and rainy. Not exactly prime weather.

I get the feeling your in misery, or Missouri. anyway, is that field natural grass or like Astro/Field/SprinTurf? I'm guessing its some sort of fake turf, which is odd for a high school around northern Idaho, our university has a turf field (University of Idaho) with a crap football team, (we've gone 0-5 this year, and even lost a game where we were suspected to win).

Missouri isn't that terrible! ...most of the time.
I'm pretty sure it was turf. A lot of schools around the St. Louis area have turf over grass. I know my high school does.

I've always wanted to be one. But odds are not in my favor.

If a clarinet can make drum major, you can too
(I took my band from being worst in state to number 3 in the region; still proud as fuck about that)

Damn man, awesome!

Put your mind to it; drum majoring's not hard. All you gotta do is be able to keep good good GOOD time and be a bit of an exhibitionist. Good flails and the ability to have fun with a sceptre is what it took for me :)

sorry I just had to make that joke. Turf is sooo nice, my local high school has grass, and when it rains, its a PITA to play on, and right 2 miles away is the University with a closed in field. believe me, come november when its snowing and freezing, and having football games inside is wonderful, SUCK IT WASHINGTON STATE; right a they have an open stadium, which sucks for them in the winter.

I played:
Saxophone (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone)
Clarinet (regular, but mostly Bass)
Flute (never in competition, just picked it up ironically)
Percussion (I could rip up a Quint better than most of the guys that played it as their main instrument)
Guitar and sing (because of course)
I guess you could say I'm musical and shit.

I never ventured into the brass section. Not sure why.

Did you march with that

I marched with the Bari Sax Freshman and Sophomore year, Bass Clarinet Junior and Senior year. Fun Fact: The metal rod used during concert season to steady the BC can double as an electric cattle prod when you hold it, shuffle your feet on AstroTurf, and touch someone with it.

I marched with a 1962 LeBlanc full-ebony extra key 2L. Fun fact. You should never march with an ebony clarinet

Didn't see that. It isn't a drug dealer special though, needs more Camaro taillights.

With the new body styles, GMC has moved the 4x4/Z71 plaque to the front fenders ahead of the doors. Looks to be a HD Sierra too, given the wheels/lift. Also, I hear your nostalgia for band - my tuba was great fun playing, and for laughs...
