Are any of you guys experiencing problems with Kinja? I have a piece I wrote on the M35 (above) I used to own but when I saved it the last time, all of the pictures disappeared from it. This has happened before. I sent a note to the help people back then and they apparently fixed it.
I sent a note this morning but does anyone even work on the weekends doing support? Am I losing my mind? I re-set the piece so it won't run until I get this straightened out but I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this happen.
Thanks.

It has happened to me a few times, and in some situations it pretty much ate what I was going to post.

I'm obsessive and edit and rewrite like a madman. I'm pretty sure that the piece can be saved but I'd be scared to try and recreate it but it could just happen again.
Thanks.

Thanks. If we can get this fixed, I have a great piece ready to go. (At least, I think so.)

No problems loading pages or commenting, but I was actually just wondering if the entire staffs of Deadspin and Gawker had taken the weekend off, since Jalopnik was the only site updated so far this morning (U.S.).
Edit: of the three major sites I normally read. I notice Gizmodo has also updated just now.

I have sent notes to several people but have not heard back yet. Of course this has to happen on a weekend. I know that traffic is higher on weekdays but I like to post pieces on the weekend too. Let's see what happens.

I browse a lot on weekends, and always await Burneko's Foodspin Saturday articles and Kat Callahan's Japanese oddities as well, so I hope it's just a glitch. Look forward to your piece, too. Curious to know why anyone would own an M35, at least lol.

The reactions to the M35 were love or hate and I know a lot of ex-military guys who got almost hostile with me when I told them I had one. One guy in particular told me about all the time he spent riding in the back of one in the desert (I forgot which of the desert wars it was) and he said me simply mentioning it caused him to get the willies.
On the other hand, guys who had been out of the military a while seemed to enjoy seeing it - kind of like an old friend. The things are remarkably dependable and will go anywhere.
