It's gonna be like automotive Christmas day for me tomorrow.

I'm getting:

Front brake rotors

Front brake pads

Spark Plugs

Plug Wires

Rotor and Cap

Air Cleaner

PCV Valve

Sea Foam (Gonna try this magical stuff)

We're changing all of it Sunday. So it should run like a new(er) car by Monday!

I'm about as happy as this Miata.

Kinja'd!!!

Now then, lets talk about a transmission rebuild... Cause the 1-2 upshift is slurred together like it's a CVT switching ratios. Or how I imagine a CVT "shifts."

I don't think that's what a CVT shifts like, but I've only ridden in the car in question like 3 times so I may be talking out my ass.

Can you possibly swap a manual into it? I heard that the Astro was available with a 5 speed for like a yea or something.

I'm not too sure either, but my dad does and he said we're getting some.

not bad, might rebuild the top of the torino soon or maybe redo the top end of the GT to turn it into a BOSS302S motor

There's really no defined shift point when I'm driving. It just kinda eventually slides into the next gear and the RPMs drop.

I can't really describe how it feels.

They were available with a manual from '85 to '94 I think.

And the amount of customization needed to put that it would not be worth it. Not to mention the cost.

You put it in your car, and *It multiplies your income by 10x, and women have more sex with you.

*(None of this is even a little bit true)

http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php… you are putting it through the vacuum lines right? The gas tank and oil is nowhere near as effective.

Probably. However my dad wants to do it, I won't be debating about where he puts it.

Is show him the link and ask what he thinks of it. I can tell you it worked wonders in my car.
