1. I'm back to normal financially.

2. It's official with the girl, so she's my gf.

2. I test drove a few cars as an cheaper replacement, including an FR-S, an RX8 06, an RX8 R3 09 for the giggles and a....Fiat 500 Sport. And seriously...fuck my NC. The RX8 R3 is the car I was looking for since FOREVER! It fits me like a glove! LIKE A GLOVE! The shifter, the sound, the throttle response, the smoothness! Just plain amazing! The RX8 R3 is my dream car (depends on point 3). Period.

3. I got 2 jobs interviews. One to work as a diesel mechanic for the city of Montreal and the other to be a diesel mechanic on trains at CN! Now the city states that the job is temporary for 6 months (probably the probation period) but pays high! CN gives me a permanent job there + training on how to fix trains but I don't know the salary. They got both interviews on the same day at the same time. I'll try to move the CN one to another day, this way I can go to the interview for the city with no problems. But in case I can't, which one would you take Oppo? Trains or City?

I'm not a fan of the RX8.

But as long as the NA stays in the picture, I'm okay with it.

But I still think you should sell everything and get an ND.

Down the line. I could get it now and end up with the same payment that I have for the Miata including insurance per month...but then you add gas and oil and the rest that I don't have with the NC and it becomes clear that it's not a good idea.

Well I had a bad taste with my RX7 FC and the 2006 RX8 I tried felt like a smoother NC Miata so nothing special there. But the RX8 R3 was just plain orgasmic!

Okay, just making sure. If you were, I was going to remind you how unreliable rotaries are, how thirsty they are, and how terrible they are in cold weather (and you know....canada is pretty much "cold with some periods of lukewarm")

The RX8 is FANTASTIC to drive but while definitely not be anywhere near as reliable as your NC. There has to by a more reliable alternative you could get but I guess they don't call you RotaryLover for nothing. Either way just think of all the pros and cons before committing to another vehicle just my 2cents.

I know I know. I ain't gonna switch my NC just like that especially right now when I need something more fuel efficient. But later on, I definitely will get a Rx8 R3 with the recaro seats as a weekend car. By the time I'll get it, they will probably be at 6-8k lol!
