Just letting you all know that crude (per barrel) is down $4.14 week over week, and $17.41 year over year, and gas futures (per gallon) are down $0.12 week over week and $0.31 year over year. I realize crude and futures do not directly correlate with gas prices, but they are indicators. So go buy an SUV!! (No, don't. Just go on lots of long, fun drives! Or get a Hellcat. The point is, do whatever the hell you want.)

lol I just bought an older range rover and I forgot how expensive buying premium gas for a truck is but then I realized its not as bad as it could be, I've just been driving my prius too much.

Yup. It's under $3/gal here in Austin now. Just in time for a family drive back east for Thanksgiving. Of course, they'll probably jack the prices for travel season.

I too have to swallow the premium pill. Some stations don't charge as much of a, well...premium, for premium as others. There's a Shell station near me that occasionally charges the same for Plus and Premium.
Now that you're buying premium try to keep an eye out for stations where the mark up over regular is less than at other stations.

I got gas for $2.85 on Monday. Filled both my cars to the brim. I was thrilled.

$2.96/gal for regular here. But of course... its verboten in my car. Never thought I'd see gasoline under $3 again.

Canada laughs at your statistics. Gas prices in Ontario are still 1.30 a liter. Freaking rip off.
