I have come to the conclusion that Plymouths from the mid to late 1970s (~ '74-'79) might just be my favorite American cars, thanks to this Plymouth Volare station wagon I found online. Just look at that metallic green paint, that "wood" paneling, and those wheels. It's about as station wagon as you can get. Also, RWD, 4-speed manual, and 318 LA V8. I wouldn't want an American wagon any other way.
I've always had a bit of a thing for Plymouths from that era, thanks to the Voyager that my grandmother's neighbor had. There's just something about these Plymouths that I really like. Or maybe it's the two tone green color schemes...

My favorite green of all time is Cadillac's early 70's "Cypress Green Metallic"

Mom had a '78 Aspen - metallic brown with a beige vinyl roof. There were two, and only two, good things about it. 1) the slant six engine, and 2) the 2 blinkers waaaay out at the edge of the front fenders that lit up when you activated the turn signal.

Gotta love it. My very first car was a 71 El Dorado in Cypress Green. It was ridiculous. Nearly 18.5 feet long!

That was the one, FWD with a 500ci/8.2L engine. It was a monster. They definitely underrated the HP at 265 or whatever they put in the manual.
