Yes SR20. It's an automatic and a manual. Isn't that wonderful?

It's a pleasure to meet you, your highness.

The best of both worlds.

IT'S FUCKING BACKWARDS.
You pull BACK to upshift, you moronic Beetle-building twats!
Every damn time I drive my dad's Passat I end up downshifting instead of upshifting. So frustrating.

First, thank you for the funniest insult I've heard in a while.
If you DD one, you get used to it.

I can imagine so, it just doesn't really make sense... you're accelerating, you want to upshift, the force of the acceleration is pushing you back in your seat, it's going to feel more natural to pull back on the shift lever.
The opposite is true for downshifting.
But, hey, better than the Chevy Sonic manumatic (two small buttons on the side of the shifter) or my mom's PT Cruiser (side-to-side).
And damn if that knob isn't comfy to hold.

Not another semi-automatic with the up shift that you have to plus on. Man I hate those. My wife's elantra is the same thing. Is it only Mazda that got that right, by pulling to upshift?

Don't tell Doug.
Also, Getriebe is one of the greatest words in German.

It is. I usually just leave my right hand there when I'm driving.
