Somebody with a completely rusted out POS A4 thinks that he can mouth off to me for an honest mistake..... Uh Nope.

Half the people are nice, then the other half want to stir the shit cauldron. Then nobody cares about the aesthetic and mechanical condition of their car, "HEY MY A4 IS MISSING MORE PARTS THAN EVERYTHING IN AN IKEA STORE, I'M GOING TO SPEND $2,000 ON STUFF THAT DOESN'T MATTER."

I'm completely fed up with AZ, Vortex and pretty much every other VAG forum out there.

In response to my biggest AZ, and Vortex fans.

1. No, I'm not stancing my car.

2. No, I'm not cutting a piece of my car off to put one piece lights on.

3. I don't give a fuck that the 2.8 isn't as fast as the 1.8T.

4. No, I'm not doing a resonator delete.

I'm 100% done with every other enthusiast website except OPPO.

Vortex has some decent stuff if you separate the chaff. I ignore the 'community' aspect of it and just use it for a resource when I've hit the end of my own experience.

i was called an idiot for not getting the 2.7 Audi a6. I don't plan in modifying anything (maybe sway bars, it leans a lot in the rear) and most if my driving is highway...

I do have to give it to the c5 aydizine guys though, they really know my car inside and out.

I try and balance it between those two, I tried a build thread but nobody seemed to care so I just tried to use it to comment on other stuff and find repairs.

I got a TON more respect when I had a B7 instead of a B5 though.

have fun with the starter and timing belt :S. The 2.8 is a good motor, sure it isn't the fastest, it the most efficient, but it does like to rev (although I've only driven o e with ported heads).

Sometimes I do wish I bought the 2.7 but then two words come to my mind "turbo failure"

It is a good motor, nice and reliable as far as VAG standards go for that matter. It just revs really funny.

The 2.7TT was a complete nightmare wasn't it?

Everyone with this feels should go to Saab forums people post other cars all the time and everyone is really nice.

Really nice, like say if your 92 Geo Prism broke down in Tulsa. Someone from Duluth would send their aunt in Salt Lake and in an hour they have towed you to a mechanic, you are sitting in their home eating a nice homemade meal, and they have put you up for the night.

no, that's the 1.8t. All turbos fail, and I just can't imagine paying almost as much for turbos as the car. The 2.7tt is very good as well (for VAG standards)
