I'll get the ball rolling with my late 2004 Mazda RX8. I hit a deer going 60mph. It was my first car and I had only owned it for two weeks.

Some dude decided to pull into my lane and stop at a green light. I rear-ended him. No airbags deployed (though they probably should have) and the car was still drive-able, kind of.

a lot of deer strikes!

here's one of my 3 deer encounters, guess that's the cost of living in the mountains

I also had a deer take of the rear view mirror on my accord, no pics. imagine an accord, then imagine it without a mirror. done

but that's not all folks! why yes, I've been hit at red lights a variety of times, one in a jeep grand cherokee whose crumple zones are terrible and I couldnt get out, once in a suzuki swift BY A SEMI!, the swift's crumple zones include the entire trunk and back seat area, terrifying.

Here's one that was my fault, look at how wrecked by suby was and barely even a scratch on the car I hit!

how about the silver civic, got a gentle bump from behind that meant I had a bumper to fix, and a fender that taught me some home body maintenance. fixed myself and pocketed the cash.

and last one that I have pictures of was the civic I bought pre-rolled. not my crash but the pics are fun.

Monkey, you sound like a terrible driver! well jsut wait! I have also been t-boned in my 88 subaru by a drunk driver, who fled the scene but left his licence plate embedded in my driver's door. Also been rear ended twice in my current civic. and a flurry of other random accidents.

3 deer hits, 1 accident my fault, and 6, or is it 7 where I've been hit by others. I'd like to think it's because I put a LOT of miles on my cars.

Here's my old Civic stuffed up a snow bank. I had to dodge a pickup with a plow that slid right through the intersection. If I was there 2 seconds earlier I would have hit his rear axle. Surprisingly no damage after I popped the bumper cover back in place.

I got rear ended by a rather large van on a highway around 2 months ago. My car was full of spare parts that I had just picked up but luckily I still walked away having only a stiff neck.

And I drive probably close to 20k miles a year, and been driving for the past 17 years and have never hit, been hit, spun out, slid off road, NOTHING. *knocks on wood*

Took a left out of a driveway, didn't see a car coming from the left as they were hidden by a dip & rise in the road. 100% my own fault. Drove it home after removing he loose grille and using some twine to secure the bumper cover, but the whole radiator support was swayed over, cost about $5000 to fix.

On a date with my girlfriend. In her dad's BMW. Hit a patch of black ice missed one tree, hit the other.

Airbags didn't go off (probably should have) Her dad paid to fix it and still drives it now.

This is a 280ZX which belonged to my mother and it flipped on the highway back in 1982. I was flung from the hatch, she went through the windshield, and we both lived. I had 3 skull fractures and now have a plate in my head covering the one that didn't heal. I'm mostly okay though. I have another one from back in the '90s of when a dump truck rolled over into a truck I was driving, but it's not scanned.

Yeah, it was very unexpected. I was fine, almost got a mouthful of Mercedes leather wrapped steering wheel, but was able to brace just before impact.

There was supposedly a shimmy at high speed at the back end of the car. She tried to pull off to the side, but it ended up flipping over.

Well the headlight has been replaced and i did remove the deer shit, but other than that, yes. Was in the middle of buying a house (6 days from closing), so I was kinda not able to buy a new car otherwise the house loan would go sour. Looking for a new ride now though.

The following car had a run in with a deer at 65mph, and managed to do nothing but crumple the hood, dislodge the thermostat, and knock out the grill

I was rear ended on a rainy day by a woman who claimed to have hydroplaned. She was very apologetic and very concerned, so I didn't have trouble exchanging insurance info. The damage that my Focus sustained was isolated to the rear bumper cover and the bumper itself; the damage on the bumper cover is on the left side because I was forced to stop before I could completely pull into a right-turn lane prior to the accident. I also got a shard of the other driver's right headlight lens as a memento - you can see it resting on the exposed portion of my car's rear bumper.

The only parts of the front clip of the woman's 2012 Civic that didn't need to be replaced seem to be the left headlight and left front fender. I figure that she was most likely braking hard, since the damage to her car is in a higher-up spot than the damage to my car is.

Ahh the same happened here no too long ago. Detroit got flooded and it took me two weeks to get into the shop. Granted all I needed was an oil change though.
