I'm so excited that I'm starting to lose sleep. A quick question, though: does the whole "Mountune parts are super-groovy with your warranty" thing apply if you install them yourself? Since this thing installs easy enough that it seems silly to pay the dealership to do it for me.

I have no idea, check the forums. :)
Sign up, and ask away; mind you, with all cars, you have to pay to play.

fellow FoST owner here! I think you need to have the parts installed by Ford for the warranty to stand. That said, I'm a few days away from putting a COBB stage 1 on after I get the damn recall done.

AFAIK, the answer is nope...must use dealer if you want that

This recall is taking forever. And just today I realized my tailight is rubbing and chipping paint as I have heard of others having.

That's awesome. Fortunately, I 'm not part of the recall; unfortunately, I just sold my accessport to someone on the forums because I don't need the tuner right now and I'm happy with it stock. -_-

Another FoST owner here. Even if you have the dealer install it, its another warranty that replaces your factory warranty. It doesn't cover much.

I had my recall done yesterday, no parts to order and takes a little less then 2 hours.

I tried a couple weeks ago and they said I couldn't get it done yet and must wait on the letter. Still haven't gotten a letter but I'll call and try to get scheduled
