Yeah, I definitely know what you mean. The statistic that I found most startling in the article was that 80% of 911s sold today are PDK. The lack of selling manual Ferraris is mostly due to Ferrari dealers' fear of having to sell used cars, too, which sucks. Obviously douchey buyers contribute.

Completely agree. It's overlooked that what sells used is what drives new car availability. Ferrari dealers really pushed the DCTs on buyers because once they entered the use market they are easier to sell. With such a low volume manufacturer, it makes a difference! I think that Ferrari could have kept the 6MT take rate at around 10% if dealers weren't so hesitant and there were more jalops at Fiat...
