I previously featured !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Some praised the man, while others pointed out that it ruined the aero or downforce distribution if you didn't also take off the front GT3 splitter.

Today we're looking at some other 911s (997s) that have been debadged and lost their wings in order to quite literally fly under the radar. I think they're grand. Especially t !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Without a doubt, this is the stuff (my) dreams are made of.
Lastly, here's a turbo'd example:
What are OPPO's thoughts on these creations? An ultimate trick in modesty or ruined engineering?

People that argues that it ruins the downforce don't realize that the majority of Porsche owners dont take advantage of what the car has to offer.

Hmm... I don't think you have to drive very quickly for the wing to noticeably plant the car firmer into the road.

I wonder if it actually makes a noticeable difference for road use. Sure on a track it's probably not something you would want to lose, but a spirited drive on a back road? You're probably fine.

Knowing that the TT had flying-off-the-road issues W/O its spoiler, and that my Crossfire's wing can't be put down above 60 makes me think that shape needs a wing on the back.

But the real question is whether that 100lbs makes a significant difference in the handling required by the majority of Porsche owners. Personally I have now idea.

I'd say no. But in my case, yes.

At 60 mph the difference is only about 30 lbs between the turbo and no spoiler. At 90 it's about 75 lbs and only about 40 lbs between the ducktail and wingless. Most Porsche owners are not doing anything to use that amount of downforce. It's probably just better on MPGs anyway.

Do they look great? Yes, I would agree. However, there's a reason these cars with monster performance came equipped with the wings - they aren't just for show! Want to go wingless, buy a standard 911, don't make it easier to kill yourself in a turbo or gt3.

That's actually the perfect answer - and what I should of written in the first place haha.
