Seen today at my detail shop. Claimed to be an original TV production car, although I always thought the interiors were black. Could have been for outside driving shots - but then why put the whole panel in the car?

Check on the drivers side in the back seat, there should be a hole where the "hidden driver's" steering wheel would have been mounted. If it is not there or evidence of that hole not being patched up later, then they may not be telling the truth.

That's amazing! I do remember some episodes of that show with a tan interior. What engine is in it?

There are only a few movie cars I haven't seen, and this is one of them.

That is either a replica or has been massively modified away from it's original screen-use setup.

On the exterior the side skirts & wheels are wrong, and the skirts make me suspect it was converted from a later Firebird than the era of the show.

The interior color is correct, but it has LCD TV where the show cars had CRT screens.

And the rims aren't even close. I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a Knight Rider fan boy and bought a book on the show and the Original KITT had these bowling ball wheel covers over turbine style rims. See the ebay ad below. From what I read in the book the hardest 2 things to find for a replica is these wheel covers and the Recaro seats
