The mobile editor won't upload pictures - anyone else have this problem? It's happened to me more frequently since the new navigation was introduced, but today it's not working at all. Also, when I'm typing the stupid header keeps getting stuck in the middle of the page if I press anything out of the main text box, like adding a picture, link, or tag.

Yeah I'm having the same issue with mobile picture uploads not being possible. It's very annoying for sure.

Here's what I have. Gawker's barebones app will not allow me to upload anything, ever. Never has. I'm going to remove it.
In Chrome (Android Chrome), I'm able to pull from "documents," then basically browse what appears to be every media file on my phone, and upload. Ain't pretty, but it works. Sorta.

I'm having issues with the header bar too. I updated to iOS 8.2 or whatever and it seemed to help with the photo uploads

On a Nexus 7 right now, can't say I've been having the same issues. The uploader doesn't like straight copy/pasting, but using the picture button results in no problems for me, provided kinja can grab the image.
I'd say try an alternative browser, but I don't know enough about the inner workings of iWorld to say if that would help or not.. :/

We don't have a barebones app. Is this something you've downloaded from the Play Store?

We need details in order to investigate: device, operating system, and browser, along with version numbers.

Well, I'm referring to the Gawker (icon looks like a red 'G' inside a square) app from the Play Store, which I think is glorified web app.
Hey! This is good that I checked it: it's an indie developer that kinda sucks and it has very few downloads. So it's uninstalled. You weren't missing anything, believe it. I'm installing the Buzzfeed app as we speak.

...aaaand this sucks too. So basically browse these blogs with a browser. Final answer.

I'm on an iphone 5S still running iOS 7.1 using Chrome. Eventually got an image to upload but it's still spotty and the header is still sticking.

We've seen plenty of apps on the different marketplaces trying to capitalize on our name. Bottom line, if it's not "by Gawker Media", don't download it.

The image upload bug you are experiencing is not a Kinja issue, but a Safari/Apple issue. This is fixed in iOS 8.0.2, so you're going to have to upgrade to fix.

We're aware of the header issue, currently investigating!
