I saw like 3 Ford Edge Sports today.
That's three more than I ever expected to see honestly.
The Ford Edge Sport: As silly of an idea as the Saturn Vue Redline, but it actually offers a performance advantage over normal Edges in the form of the 3.7L V6 from the Mustang.
Oh, and 22s, can't forget the 22s.
I love the comedy behind the idea of a "sporty" crossover based on one that isn't so sporty.

Never realized that was an engine upgrade. Thought it was just an appearance package.

I used to think that too. Until I was building one and saw the normal ones get the 2.0T or 3.5 V6 and the Sport gets a 3.7.

Saucy.
"Yeah, hi, I drive a twin turbocharged crossover that isn't a Porsche."

Its tempting, but they have such a boring shape.

The irony in that the non-Sport 3.5 FWD Edge is quicker to 60...

Seriously? If it has the 2.7TT and AWD, it's one midsize SUV I'd actually be interested in.

Pretty much every car has a 'sport' trim level now. A lot of not-at-all-sporty cars aspire to that out of a desire to attact people who haven't yet realized that actual performance requires sacrifice.

I love the Sports. Between the huge wheels and the black grille, the entire thing just looks fantastic.

I just pulled out the Car&Driver, to make sure I hadn't gone nuts. It's true, it'll have 320 hp, and 370 lb-ft of torque. Talk a sleeper!

I like it. The new edge should be an improvement!
