Tons. I knew a crew member of a buoy tender in Florida. He once shared a story of being tasked with chasing a tracked manatee that was acting abnormal and eventually headed out to sea. They even had a SeaWorld crew join them on the boat. Never found the manatee.

If you do something really stupid like try to run in a bubble on the ocean from Florida to Bermuda and need rescuing then you should be required to pay the united states coast guard back the money it spent to rescue your dumb ass.
