I am amazed by this discovery. First off, is the fact that they sold the Pontiac Trans Sport in Germany, which comes with the little touches that make a Euro Spec car. Second, the fact that they sold it with the 2.3l 4 cil with 137 hp mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. All yours for 460 Euros. And even better, since it was owned by an orderly German, it is in pristine condition with all its service records. Browsing around the German equivalent of Auto-trader is my favourite new thing!

I couldn't believe it. I started off by looking at just what Ponitacs would anyone buy in Germany. Then reached to the Sunfires and Trans Sports. Then found this!

Any price for a Manual Trans Sport is Nice.

Also, check out the SRX at the back. Also Euro spec and odd.

Hell not even. The price for 3 of these shitboxes is equal to like a used 2008 or 2009 odyssey with over 70,000 miles.

Rear fog lights! They're both compulsory although it's very much a thing now to have whiteish lenses for the indicators with orange bulbs.

Dutch plates? ?

Yes. If you read the link you'll note the car is listed in Rotterdam.

And, back when all-red clusters were in vogue, you often saw amber indicators behind red lenses.

Today's trivia: the Americans aren't allowed have this. They have to have indicators with orange lenses or else have none and use the brake lights. No, I don't know either.

When I was younger I tried as hard as I could to convince my parents to buy a Trans Sport or an Oldsmobile Silhouette. The white ones look like Star Trek shuttle craft to me.

Amazingly, I've never seen that commercial before, but I guess you could say that the comparison was... imminently logical.

Wow, that is an uncanny likeness. Shame, then your username could have been The Trans Sporter, huehuehue

I like how GM made the Alero a "Chevrolet" in Europe but was too cheap to even change the Oldsmobile logo on the steering wheel. Ha.
Back when I owned a Beretta, Euro-spec Beretta and Corsica parts were like gold. I always wanted Euro heads and tails for my Beretta but they were hard as hell to find.

Id imagine they would be. I don't know why, but I feel there is an air of sophistication on euro spec models.

Super shady dealership known and proven to screw people over. Cars look great in the pictures, but are just quickly cleaned up. These cars come from all diferent places, like auctions and impounds , and are usually not maintained well.
But, if you are lucky and you know what you are doing (You know cars well), you can find a great car at a great price. Just be very, very careful.
I visit it once every month or two just to browse and explore all the cars there. They have over 1000 cars. From impounded, riced-out astras with child seat still on the back seat to a brand new Panamera, Bentley Continental and back to cars without keys...

Yeah, Haha.
I'm surprised that Pontiac even bothered bringing it over in the first place.

The same (Dutch, not German) seller offers a Chrysler 300M . €390, but you have to €50 extra for the wheels. Needs a head gasket. Or, more likely, a crusher.
There's a Cadillac CTS as well. €2890, and an additional €100 for the hideous wheels.
While we're at it, this same seller offers a Chrysler Grand Voyager with a manual transmission and a diesel engine. Price? €840.
And no, it's not normal for a used car dealer to ask extra for the wheels.

I would buy that in a heartbeat for 460 euros. Always had a soft spot for this futuristic MPV
