This is presumably going to be larger than the MKS, because they're already working on the next-gen MKS, and they say "all-new" in the press release...

Interesting to note is that the next MKS is known internally as "Continental", I dunno if this is just rumor or...? anyone know?

Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't this Press Release directed towards the Chinese market? It's not unprecedented for China to get special, bigger versions of vehicles that are never sold elsewhere. However, that doesn't mean this new, bigger sedan won't make it to the US.

Also, the Press Release I'm seeing is dated April 17, 2014.

It's true it's for China and you have a point with the China-only argument, but would they really give China a Conti while everyone begs for one here, which is what's happening?

If the press release were no longer relevant, I don't see why they'd keep it on their website...

They'd better bring it here so that I can be driven around in one (when the client pays for it) ....

They might. China got the RWD Buick Park Avenue and the long wheelbase Cadillac STS.

Well, either way, we're getting a new MKS/MKS replacement, and if they do that as nicely as they did the MKZ (only larger and better), even Jalopnik/Oppo won't complain.
