Did you see Doug's post on the 997 GT3 today? Have you driven one? If so what do you think about the ride on public roads. Is it really THAT bad?

I have not driven one. I've only driven the C2 and C2S

I've only driven the GT3 RS, and TBH, it's fine as long as you don't hit any car-eating craters or something. Comfortable, even. Porsche's suspension just kind of absorbs bumps to me. I just wish the 944's was even half that good.

So, yeah, as long as you don't live anywhere that sucks, the GT3 RS is quite a comfortable ride. All the stuff you need in a car, with none of the gizmos you don't. 10/10, would daily, but you'll also need to order the three-packs of rubber front lips in bulk, too, for obvious ride height related reasons.

I suspect Doug is either a) a bit soft or b) living somewhere with roads that suck. I drove around PA a bit. Signs point to b).
