So I've learned that anything to be a x.jalopnik.com site is blocked at my school as "adult" fucking HS server firewall. All I want to do is slack off and read this stuff. But no guess I have to work...

No idea, usually if they see you attempt to get on a blocked page they'll kick you off the computers.. kinda stupid but I want to read silly car stuff damn it!

Yeah I usually use chrome but I'm not super great with computers and I need my account for a couple of my classes so I can't really risk messing with the computers.

Well then... I'd say get a cheap laptop, load up Win7 and OpenVPN, and use the free VPNBOOK dot COM user profile... worked for me ;)

It's probably best that I don't try and Oppo during school because I need to actually do stuff in classes where I'm on the computer. Best I don't goof off if I want to get into the top 50 in my class.

I'm currently 77th out of like 300 something.... My average is currently 98 for the quarter keeping it there definitely will bring me closer to top 20% or higher

Ah gotcha, that makes a lot more sense.

When I was in high school they blocked MySpace (yeah, about a decade ago...), a bunch of students would use proxy sites to get around it. Do a Google search for some proxy sites, that should help you out.

Nice. I'm about where I thought I was. I didn't do as well as I could have/should have Freshman and Sophomore years. But being around the top 25% of my class I feel is a good thing and will help in my future. I hope to be about to get as close to 50 or better as I can.

That was what it was like the last few years. Usually if I have an 85 or better I'm happy but this one just pisses me off because it's 10 points lower than my 2nd lowest. It's math though so that's where most of the stress comes from.
