Well, have you? I'm intrigued. With thanksgiving coming up I'll be going home to Houston. They've got a C7 convertible listed, so I was thinking of treating myself and renting it for a day.
If you've done this, how'd it go? What sort of mileage limits do they put on you? How much does it cost?

I thought of doing this last year too.
I was considering Hertz for this, but I learned that the rates listed on their website are for using the car for unto 75 miles a day. Each additional mile is $0.75 to $3.
I'm guessing Enterprise is the same way. So just be aware of that...
Avis offers luxury cars but I haven't looked into their prices.

$299 for 60 miles? I wonder how Enterprise compares.
As expensive as it is I might actually do it...

I used to rent from them every week. Until they gave me this exotic.

What a coincidence I just learned about this 2 days ago, I'd want either the R8 or the Stingray.
F Type would be 3rd if it has the V8 if not Model S.

They weren't showing an R8 in Houston. Stingray and F-Type, I'd take the Stingray.
Hertz also rents Stingrays and C6 Convertibles. Neither is available that week :(

$299 for 100 miles 9am to 4pm on a Monday to Thursday, but $449 for 24 hours. I can't imagine you will still want to drive the C7 after thanksgiving dinner, haha.

When I clicked for the daylight special it was showing 60 miles.

Ooooh, I see that now. 7 hours and 60 miles for $300. That sounds disappointing, you wouldn't have a whole lot of miles left over to and from.
