(Update! I don't pick her up till tomorrow. So when I got text from the owner I got a bit worried thinking someone snaked me.
Turns out the car needed back brakes. So he just went ahead and did them for me!
This may be a Craigslist transaction for the history books!)
I decided to celebrate by making myself $700 poorer.
I'll do a full write up this weekend but here are the basics.
1989 T Bird Super Coupe, 1 of 4,768 automatic cars for 89.
Auto trans (cue sad trombone)
Super solid body, no rust on the rockers but faded paint and a little surface rust. The whorehouse burgundy interior has no fade.
The blower may need a rebuild and it needs a valve job.
For the money It's well worth it.

HAHA! JK! Enjoy the day and the new wheels. A decent shift kit does wonders on the SC AOD's.

The shift kit is going in asap. I'd like to do a stalled converter too but that may have to wait for a rebuild.
