If it came down to an '07 Hyundai Azera Limited and an '07 Lincoln MKZ, both with the same service history and mileage, which one is the better choice? And don't just suggest something else. These are the choices, folks. I ask this because of reasons.

I SUGGEST THAT YOU GET A MIATA BCUZ IS BETTER THAN THEY BOTH.

Nah, in all seriousness, the Lincoln would be the better choice. Much better build quality from my experience, plus it's a better looking car.

I just can't take the bland genericness of the Azera. I would say Lincoln, although I drive a Lincoln so I might be biased.

Had to laugh at the first sentence. That's usually the kind of answer I get to these things. "Those cars suck. I'd get a '99 XJR." Come on, people.

Future replacement for the Galant? I guess it depends on how each was optioned.

I'll go Lincoln as well, as it is a better car. Although the Azera should be cheaper on maintenance costs.

Lincoln.

The Duratec V6 will last forever.

Is that Lincoln AWD?

What about an Acura RL? Nice looking cars, seem to be reliable too.

The Lincoln. A Hyundai with eight years worth of miles isn't a good idea. Unlike other Hyundais, this Azera was never a good car even when new. The Lincoln is better looking, and it's built on a good platform that I am going to assume drives better.

Yeah, I want something vanilla (FWD, autotragic) but also kind of comfy to use as a reliable commuter car. I also want to buy in cash (no car payments, thank you) and not spend more than $10K. And maintenance costs have to be low.

Both come with leather interior and have very, very similar specs.

I was thinking the Azera might be a lot cheaper - and Hyundai durability seems to be excellent these days (both of mine were great to 170/190K).

I think if you value comfort/style and don't mind having some more expensive repair bills, get the Lincoln.

If you just want the most dependable, cheapest option, then probably the Hyundai.

Lincoln, please! My uncle has an Azera. Bought it new back then, is not happy with its reliability.

Apparently, Hyundai's awesome 10-year warranty only applies to the person who bought the car new. As soon as the original buyer sells the car, the warranty is cut down to 5 years. So an '07 is out of warranty.

Lincoln seems to be winning by a small landslide. Any particular reason you went with the Azera? I want to hear a case for the underdog.

Not much of a choice, but between the two, I think I would choose the Lincoln.

The interior is much better.

Also, I don't like how the Lincoln looks. It somehow manages to be bland and gaudy.

I say the Lincoln because it's not a Hyundai.

Jalop isn't an attribute of the car, jalop is what you make of it.

That said, Lincoln.

I choose the Lincoln because, although quality/performance is equal or not much better, it has cool touches that make it interesting.

-14 Speaker THX Sound System

- The interior lighting is elegant

-Analog Clock, because extreme luxury

-AWD

- With Blacked out grill it looks mean

Hyundai on the simple merit that it isn't a Lincoln.

This is so hard to understand.... i try to look at them in every way, from any angle and i get nothing. And we dont even have them here, but my curiosity is zero.

Where they top of the lines in the US ? Will they be much more silent and comfy then a modern focus or a golf for ex ? We have those and they are appliances but very smooth and reliable. Perfect for commuting but, specially the focus, made by engineers that love to drive. That Linc..... it was designed to detach and isolate the driver... im i wrong?

Come to your senses Man! ( but good luck whatever you choose )
