Why does the Colorado get two different shades of red, but no option of blue whatsoever?
I know the Silverado lost Blue Topaz Metallic for a different shade of blue that doesn't look nearly as good. And now the Colorado just doesn't get blue at all?
I am disappointed because blue is my second favorite color on a car after black. And I'm kinda partial to blue Chevy trucks, since my dad's Silverado looks so good in Arrival Blue Metallic.
Why must people be so scared of color? It's not like blue is even that bold!

I hate that you're probably right.
Which is too bad, because GM can make a really attractive blue.

That blue the Silverado gets now, maybe it's just the 2500HD, I think looks pretty good.

That's Blue Topaz. It looks seriously good. Too bad it seems like GM is discontinuing it, at least on 1500 models.

Deep Ocean Blue is pretty impressive. Unless it was a Blue Topaz truck I saw at the NYS Fair this year.

I would pay the extra 500 for the green now that I saw it on a Sierra.
Wish there was blue though.

The green on the Colorado actually looks pretty nice in person.

But really, that is idiotic. They should have greens and yellows and whatever the hell you want...

Yeah I have never understood Chevys hatred for blue. I loved aqua blue on the 2010 camaros (lasted 6 months) I would probably own a SS if they has a blue. I love blue cars but Chevy never keeps a good blue for very long

As others have pointed out, and I fear is correct, because Ford is blue.
I feel like the SS is getting blue when it gets those like 7 new colors it's getting.

Late availability.
Took this screenshot back when the Colorado page on the Chevy site went up.
It's called Laser Blue, that and Rally Yellow were marked as 'late availability'.
Edit: Now with full body shot in Laser Blue.

I agree the color options suck, and I'm not too impressed with the way they setup the packaging for some of the options. Mine came out to be almost 34K for a x-tra cab, v6, 4x4. They've screwed up again. For that price, (and probably economy too,) you could get a decent full-sized truck.

It comes in wonderful green. Blue is irrelevant.

A basic 4x4 double cab work truck with the 4.3L V6, and even that's over $34k.

I'd prefer the fullsize, and I imagine that it not fully loaded either. The Colorado was not loaded, there should be a price gap between the two. If not, why offer a midsize truck that is smaller, gets close to the same fuel economy, and the prices overlap considerably? It just does not make sense.
